Grow in Your Understanding of the Virtue of Mercy
The Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, in collaboration with Oblate School of Theology, invite you to take a free online course to celebrate mercy.
Mercy is a virtue that encompasses forgiveness, kindness, benevolence, and compassion—but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
In the Celebrating Mercy Online Course, Fr. Ron Rolheiser. O.M.I. digs deep into the pages of Scripture to examine mercy as exhibited in the life and teachings of Jesus. As you take the course, you will find that the definition of mercy opens up to include wholeness, trust, freedom, acceptance, and much more.
These practical, biblical insights will challenge and encourage you to examine mercy in your own life and extend it to others.
As Missionary Oblates, our passion is to demonstrate the loving mercy of Christ to all that we come in contact with, and to help equip others to do the same. That’s why we’ve made Celebrating Mercy available at no cost. We want to see you grow in your knowledge of the Bible and put its principles into action.
This free online course is delivered by e-mail, one lesson per week. Each week, you’ll receive a video teaching, memory verse, and reflection/discussion questions for deeper study. You are welcome to complete the course on your own or as a group. Upon finishing the course, you will receive a certificate of completion at your mailing address.
At the end of this eight-week course, you will have a greater appreciation for what mercy is, how it is depicted in God’s Word, and how to better practice it in your own life.
The Missionary Oblates and Oblate School of Theology are at the forefront of helping people discover new forms of mercy in their lives. Please take advantage of this free opportunity to celebrate mercy in your life and in the lives of your loved ones.
